When we rank the best online casinos UK players can join, the score is a weighted sum of four ratings, explained in the method section below. It compares these casinos with each other on the things this site cares about, rules and costs, and it is not a prediction of what you will win or lose. Offers change often, so check the terms on the casino’s own site before you deposit. We keep this online casino comparison UK-only, with no offshore sites, and update it whenever a listed offer or licence changes.

Casino Reviews: What Each Site Does Well and Less Well

A short review of each casino in our best online casinos UK list, based on the facts in its record: the offer terms, the table range, the withdrawal times and the payment methods.

Read moreShow less about each casino

1. bet365 review (9.0/10)

bet365 tops the list on three of the four criteria. Every listed withdrawal method pays out within about four hours, and nine payout methods are listed, more than at any other site here. The table count is the weak point: around 15 RNG blackjack and 25 roulette games, fewer than LeoVegas or Betway, although 180+ live tables make up much of the gap.

Licence: Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC, Gambling Commission account 55149. Payout methods: Visa, Apple Pay, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, PaysafeCard, Trustly, Wire Transfer, PayByBank. Fastest listed withdrawal: Apple Pay, instant. Support: Live Chat (24/7), Contact Form, FAQ, Email.

2. BetMGM review (8.8/10)

BetMGM has the deepest live casino in this comparison, with 290+ live tables, including 65+ live blackjack and 60+ live roulette tables. Withdrawals are slower than at bet365: PayPal is listed at up to 24 hours, cards at one to three days.

Licence: LeoVegas Gaming PLC, Gambling Commission account 39198. Payout methods: Visa, Apple Pay, Mastercard, PayPal, Bank Transfer, Google Pay. Fastest listed withdrawal: PayPal, up to 24 hours. Support: Email, Live Chat (24/7), FAQ.

3. LeoVegas review (8.4/10)

LeoVegas and Betway share the largest RNG table range here, with 25+ blackjack and 40+ roulette games, alongside 200+ live tables. PayPal withdrawals are listed at 1 to 12 hours, the fastest method on the account.

Licence: LeoVegas Gaming PLC, Gambling Commission account 39198. Payout methods: Visa, Apple Pay, Mastercard, PayPal, Google Pay, TrueLayer, Trustly. Fastest listed withdrawal: PayPal, 1-12 hours. Support: Live Chat (24/7), Email, FAQ (24/7).

4. William Hill review (7.3/10)

William Hill loses a point on our bonus-terms rating because of a cap on what can be taken from its offer. Payout methods include PayPal, Neteller and Skrill, each listed at one day. The table range is narrower than the top three, with around 10 RNG blackjack and 10 roulette titles and 160+ live tables.

Licence: WHG (International) Limited, Gambling Commission account 39225. Payout methods: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Neteller, PayPal, Skrill, Bank Transfer. Fastest listed withdrawal: Neteller, 1 day. Support: Live Chat (24/7), FAQ (24/7).

5. 888casino review (6.9/10)

888casino scores lowest here on bonus terms, because its offer carries wagering where most others carry none. On the tables it is strong, with 240+ live tables including 100+ live blackjack.

Licence: 888 UK Limited, Gambling Commission account 39028. Payout methods: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Wire Transfer, PayPal, Luxon, Trustly. Fastest listed withdrawal: Apple Pay, 1 day. Support: FAQ (24/7), Live Chat (24/7), Email, Phone (VIPs only).

6. MrQ review (6.9/10)

MrQ has some of the quickest payouts in the list: PayPal is listed at up to two hours and instant bank transfer at 10 to 20 minutes. It is built around slots, though. With 7 RNG blackjack games, 2 roulette games and 40+ live tables it has the thinnest table range here, and live chat runs from 09:00 to 21:00 rather than around the clock.

Licence: Tek Fox Ltd, Gambling Commission account 60629. Payout methods: Visa, Apple Pay, Mastercard, PayPal, Instant Bank Transfer. Fastest listed withdrawal: Instant Bank Transfer, 10-20 minutes. Support: Email, FAQ (24/7), Live Chat (09:00 - 21:00).

7. Betway review (6.3/10)

Betway has a broad table range, with 25+ blackjack and 40+ roulette games and 160+ live tables, but it scores lower elsewhere: its offer carries wagering, and every listed withdrawal method takes one to three days. Five payout methods are listed, including PayPal and Trustly.

Licence: Betway Limited, Gambling Commission account 39372. Payout methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Trustly, Instant Bank Transfer. Fastest listed withdrawal: Visa, 1-3 days. Support: Live Chat (24/7), FAQ.

How We Score Each Casino: Four Criteria, Fixed Weights

Each casino gets a rating out of 10 on four criteria, and the score is the weighted sum: bonus terms 35%, table games 30%, withdrawal speed 20% and payment choice 15%. The inputs are the casino’s own published terms and records, gathered on 15 October 2026.

Bonus terms. A wager-free offer scores 10. An offer whose winnings are wager-free after you stake your own deposit once scores 9, and an offer with 10x wagering on bonus funds scores 6. A cap on what you can win from the offer takes one point off.

Tables. We add the number of RNG blackjack and roulette games to the number of live tables, then scale the result so the largest range in the list scores 10. This is a site about table rules, so the range of tables matters more to us than the size of the slot library.

Withdrawals and payments. The fastest listed withdrawal method scores 10 at four hours or less, 8 at a day, 6 at three days and 4 above that. Payment choice scores 10 for nine or more payout methods, one point less for each method fewer. Credit cards and cryptocurrency are never counted, because neither may be used to gamble in Great Britain.

Rounding and ties. Each score is the weighted sum of the four ratings in the table above, rounded to one decimal place (half up). When two casinos have the same score, the one with the higher table-games rating ranks first.

What this cannot tell you. A ranking like this is only as good as its inputs. The ratings use each casino’s own published figures, such as game counts and stated withdrawal times, not our own test deposits. A first withdrawal can take longer while identity checks run. We recheck the records and the register at least once a month and when an offer changes; the date at the top of the page shows the last check.

♠︎UK licensing

Why Only Licensed Casinos: What a UK Licence Means

A casino may only offer games to players in Great Britain with a remote casino licence from the Gambling Commission. All the UK licensed online casinos above were checked on the public register on 15 October 2026, and each shows an active remote casino licence.1 (source)

Read moreShow less about UK licensing

In this online casino comparison UK law sets the floor. The licence brings obligations that protect players: age and identity checks before you can deposit or play, membership of GAMSTOP, deposit limits and time-outs, and game rules that meet the Commission’s technical standards. An unlicensed site has none of these duties, and the Commission cannot help you if a dispute arises there.

The account number is usually printed in the casino’s footer. Two brands can share one number when the same company runs them, as LeoVegas and BetMGM do here. Our guide on how to check a UK gambling licence shows what the register entry should look like.

♦︎Bonus terms

Bonus Terms in the UK: Wagering Capped at 10x

Since 19 January 2026, a casino bonus offered in Great Britain may require bonus funds to be wagered at most 10 times, and one offer may not mix casino play with betting or other products.2 (source)3 (source) Every offer in this comparison is within that limit.

Read moreShow less about bonus terms

Some offers go further and put no wagering on the winnings at all. A deposit match can use the full 10x: on a £50 bonus that means £500 of stakes before the bonus money can be withdrawn, and games may count towards it at different rates.

Read the significant terms under each offer before you opt in: the minimum deposit, any qualifying stake, the games the offer applies to, the time limit and any cap on winnings. Our wagering requirements guide has a calculator for any offer.

♣︎Payments

Payment Methods at UK Casinos: What You Can Use

UK casinos accept debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer and other e-wallets. Credit cards have been banned for gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020.4 (source) E-wallets are usually the quickest way to be paid.

Read moreShow less about payment methods

PayPal is listed as a payout method at all seven casinos here, and it is the fastest listed method at LeoVegas and BetMGM. Card withdrawals usually take one to three days. Most casinos pay a withdrawal back to the method used to deposit, so it is worth depositing with the method you want to be paid by.

♠︎Safer gambling

Safer Gambling Tools Every UK Casino Must Offer

Every licensed casino must let you set deposit limits, take a time-out and self-exclude, and it must take part in GAMSTOP, which blocks you from all licensed online gambling sites at once.7 (source) Online slot stakes are capped at £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24.5 (source)

What is the best online casino in the UK?

On our four criteria, bet365 scores highest (9.0/10), followed by BetMGM and LeoVegas. For live tables, BetMGM has the most (290+); for RNG blackjack and roulette, LeoVegas and Betway have the widest range. For the quickest payout, MrQ lists instant bank transfer at 10 to 20 minutes.

Yes. Online casinos are legal for adults in Great Britain when the operator holds a remote casino licence from the Gambling Commission. Northern Ireland has its own gambling law, and the Gambling Act 2005 does not extend there.

How can I check that a casino is UK licensed?

Find the account number in the casino’s footer and search for it on the Gambling Commission public register. The entry should show the operator’s name and an active remote casino licence. Our licence guide walks through each step.

What is the maximum wagering requirement in the UK?

Since 19 January 2026, a casino bonus offered to players in Great Britain may require bonus funds to be wagered at most 10 times. A single offer may also no longer mix casino play with betting or other products.

Can I use a credit card at UK online casinos?

No. Gambling with credit cards has been banned in Great Britain since 14 April 2020. Debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, bank transfer and other e-wallets are accepted, depending on the site.

Which UK casino pays out fastest?

Do I pay tax on casino winnings in the UK?

No. Gambling winnings are not taxed for players in the UK; the tax is paid by the operators. This applies to winnings, not to any income earned from gambling as a business.
