What Personal Data Do We Process?
Two kinds: the technical data your browser sends when it requests a page, which our hosting provider records in server logs, and anything you choose to send us by e-mail or post.

Server logs. Like almost every website, the servers that deliver these pages record each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the page you came from and your browser’s user agent string. These logs are used to deliver the site, to keep it secure and to find faults.
Messages. If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address or postal address, your name if you give it and whatever your message contains. We use this only to read and answer your message, and to correct a page if your message reports an error.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as health or financial details. If you mention your own gambling in a message, we will use that only to point you to support, and we will not keep it longer than needed to reply. The site does not load fonts, scripts or trackers from third-party servers; everything you see is delivered from our own domain.
On What Lawful Bases Do We Process It?
Our legitimate interests: running a secure, working website for server logs, and answering correspondence for messages you send. Where the law requires us to keep or disclose data, we rely on legal obligation.

We have weighed these interests against your rights. Server logs are limited to the data a browser sends anyway, and messages are processed only because you chose to send them. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time, as explained under Your rights.
Does the Site Use Cookies?
The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Only essential technology needed for the site to work is used, and no non-essential cookie is ever set without your consent.
Read moreShow less about cookies
The cookie notice at the top of the page lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies and links to this policy and our Terms of Use. As the site uses none, both choices simply close the notice. You can reopen it at any time from the Cookie notice link in the footer.
To avoid showing the notice on every page, your browser keeps one small entry in its local storage, named cr-notice, once you close it. It holds only the value 1, is never sent to us or anyone else, and stays until you clear your browser’s site data. It is strictly necessary for the notice to work, so it needs no consent.
If we ever add a cookie, we will list it here with its name, purpose and lifetime before it goes live. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fully without them.
What Happens When You Follow a Link to a Casino?
Links to casinos pass through a short address on our domain beginning /go/, then send you to the casino’s website. Once you arrive there, the casino’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

The request to the /go/ address is recorded in our server logs like any other page request. The casino may record that you arrived from this site, because that is how commissions are paid. We do not receive your name, account details or anything you do on the casino’s site.
The same applies to other external links, such as those to the Gambling Commission or to support services: each site you visit has its own privacy policy.
Who Receives Your Data?
Our hosting provider, which stores and delivers the site and keeps the server logs, and our e-mail provider, which handles messages sent to us. Both act on our instructions as processors.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for marketing. We may disclose data if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from the police or a court. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards the UK GDPR requires for international transfers.
How Long Do We Keep It?
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and fault-finding, then deleted by the hosting provider. Messages are kept as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up, then deleted.

If a message leads to a correction on the site, we may keep a record of the correction itself, without your personal details, so the change can be traced. If the law requires us to keep something for longer, we keep it only for that purpose.
What Are Your Rights?
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and, in some cases, to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected] to use any of them.

We will reply without undue delay and in most cases within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand data to the wrong person. Because server logs do not contain names, we may need the date, time and IP address of your visit to find an entry.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator.3 (source) We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you do.
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process data about children.
How Will We Tell You About Changes?
When this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page and the date at the top changes with it. A significant change, such as adding a new type of cookie, is made before the change to the site takes effect.

Earlier versions are available on request. If anything in this policy is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
